As a result, consistant and reproducible result can be obtained, close toleraces can be maintained (even with fragile and precision components), and very smooth surface finishes can be produced. 

Small-sized media can be used with centrifugal barrel finishing, thus ensuring uniformity of  and edges, and permitting greater action in holes and recesses. Small parts can be handled as well. Equipment is quiet and requires no special noise abatement measures.
